My First Book!

For the past few years, I have brainstormed and thought of different ways I could add color to the world that has given me so much. As an educator, I see the difficulties that kids live through. I noticed a common theme amongst males and females alike. When they lose a friend or when they no longer want to be friends; they do not understand how to handle this loss. This is where I had my 'ah ha' moment! As adults we understand the growth of our lives (having lived through these experiences). We understand when someone leaves us it could be for a day, a month, or even a few years. But for that reason we accept the ebb and flow of making friends and then sometimes seeing them leave. My story of The Friendship Tree teaches children how to accept the seasons of friendship and to value the time we have. If you enjoyed this synopsis you will enjoy this book.
